Great Ideas Made Possible by the Internet; Pt. 1

Please take a moment from your busy lives to check out a new website that has hit the scene. It's hosted on our very own blogger site. Click here (pops) to check it out.

I hesitate to call this site a blog, however, because I have heard that the guy who posted all of these immediately got himself a couple of book deals. I have to admit that it's one of the most innovative and touching projects I've heard of in a while. The organizer has asked people, literally anyone, to write him their deepest, darkest secret on a postcard and mail it to him. Of course, it's all anonymous for anyone who chooses to participate. So there's a strange blend of anonymity, creativity and catharsis going on here and some of the cards that come out of it are really incredible. I got a few goosy bumps.

I'm glad that someone was able to get a book deal off of such a great idea, also. I think this site got a lot of attention. I know the creator was interviewed on NPR and it was really interesting. I wish I could find you a link but laziness prevails on this one. I doubt most of you are even interested in this site. I'm just trying to cram a little culture into your already too full palate. Choke to death, you bastards. Choke on your own lust for information.
