It's Clobberin' Time. (NOT "cloberinG". Important)
I did my best to ignore the evidence that Fantastic Four is going to suck. Granted, there was not much evidence to the contrary for me to focus on. Every trailer I've seen for the movie so far looks cheesy. The quality of clips I've seen make the movie look like it was produced for tv. I told myself that the trailers weren't showing it all. I told myself that the four seperate types of superpowers would be cool. I told myself that the Human Torch wasn't just a smug cliche of a character.
Slowly but surely, more trailers came out and slow, I dropped all the illusions. The only thing I was left with was the anticipation of seeing Alba's sweet, sweet ass. It'll be worth it for me to see this movie still, I thought, if only to see the curves on Mt. Alba. But I realized that the trailers don't even give us a good money shot of Alba, which should be their whole selling point. I also realized that I have the internet.

Miscast as the Invisible Woman. Ha. Ha. Ha.
I don't think I'm going out on a limb here when I predict that the box office slump will continue this weekend. I don't want to dwell anymore on these big blockbusters, however. I will close with a list of summer movies still to come that I actually want to see. You should want to see them too. You should do whatever I ask. You should take your shirt off.... sexy.

Keira Knightley in Domino
Bill Murray in Jim Jarmusch's Broken Flowers
